My SEO test - Automatic keyword generator service

Friday, August 17th, 2007

I released a first beta version of my SEO keyword generator a few days ago. This can be found at http://web.archive.org/web/20070305185830/http://keyword-analyse.tne-seo.com/11825/SEO_keyword_analyse.html you enter a site and it finds the correct keywords for your site. It is a bit “stupid” at the moment and suggesting keywords such as IT AND FOR etc, but it is at the moment “learning” what words are common words and will not index those in the next version.

What i now have made is a new scipt, that will use the keywords suggested in my tool, and see if my traffic to the site are increasing, or at least if my site get hit more by correct searches rather then off topic searches.

SEO experts say that keywords play less important role today then a few years ago when internet was born, however, it is always a start to make my porfolio of SEO tools that you can use to increase your ranking. And my tool get’s smarter and smarter each day, the more it learns

I will keep you updated if this helps, and if it does, i will commercialise this service

(would you like to test this service, contact me)

Kuala Lumpur - Petronas Twin Towers

Friday, August 17th, 2007

To everyone that are going to KL and looking on the internet and find guided tours to Petronas Twin Towers i would just like to say. To go up in the tower is free when i was in Kuala Lumpur. I remember that the tower was shut for visitors on mondays. I can also say that the towers are owned by a oil company, and not international investment bank, that they say in entrapment. You have the shopping center KLCC right next to it as well as a big park. I dont have any photos to show since my camera was stolen in Malaysia..

Taxis in Kuala Lumpur

Friday, August 17th, 2007

Make sure to either get a pre bought taxi ticket(you can find ticket shopps at the major attractions ) or a yellow taxi that are the goverment taxi. If you take a red taxi you will end up paying a very high price. Also if you need to take the bus, buy it from the fixed ticket shopps, dont buy it from the street. You have no guarantuee that the bus go on time if you buy it from the street

What is MFA

Friday, August 17th, 2007

MFA or Made For AdSense is pages that get traffic with the only purpose of getting others to click on there ad’s. The pages contain little information about one subject and on the top, before any relevant information is displayed you have a lot of advertisements, that most users will probably click on before they reach the few words of real content there is on this page.
Some of the MFA site advertise there service on google adwords and get a click from a user how is intressted in this subject and display his own ad’s that has a higher pay per click then what the owner of the site displayed his ad for in google.

Making a MFA site can be profitable for a short period of time, before either google find out that the page is spam, or that someone reports the page to google. I would not recoment creating MFA sites. The same goes for any page that contain mostly affiliate links or sponsor ad’s. I don’t mind if a page have ad’s on there, but It should be more content then ad’s on each page.

Use google as a tool for development

Friday, August 17th, 2007

When i am building websites, i sometimes need to run big scripts, sometimes these scripts take several days up to weeks to finnish running. The problem with running big scripts are that either you have to build in a delay in the script that is running, that will make your script take even more time. Your other option will be that you run your script with full access to resources, and that all your sites on the dedicated server will be slower, due to the extensive resourece usage of this script. I have a new aproach for this, why not let google build the pages when google index them ? This way only the indexed pages are constructed, google will crawl most of the pages, the first time someone else crawl that page, it will be built (fair enough, it will take a bit more time then if it would be already built, but you will not have the same problems as if a script that have run for a week fails or times out.

Cat get’s credit card

Friday, August 17th, 2007

I find this very funny. A Austrailian bank has issued a credit card to a cat after the cat’s owner tested the banks security system. The bank has after the fact that the card was issued to a cat was known, the bank has canceled the card…

Malaysia & Internet & .com

Friday, August 17th, 2007

Last week i was in Malaysia when the internet connection cable from Malaysia to Thaiwan broke. I tried to surf on the few redundant lines they had in place, but it was virtualy impossible to connect to hotmail or any other big sites.

Since this is still not repaired, there is a risk of several hundred of domain names will expire due to that the domain owner can not connect to there registrar website and renew there site…

Air Asia

Friday, August 17th, 2007

Air Asia is a new low cost airline that is asias anwser to EasyJet. This is a fairly new company. We went with Air Asia from kuala lumpur to Landkawi, the flight in question became 6 hours late. During the check in the women said “Why did you not choose a earlyer flight, Air Asia Evening flights are always delayed.”.

Air Asia in KL are flying from the new LCC terminal, that has a very limited amount of shopping. From KL you can easy get to this airport from KL Sentral by air asia bus or other operators. The ticket is arround 9 RM (equal to 2 Euros or Dollars). There are also shuttel service from KL main terminal to KL LCC terminal, this transfere is 2.5 RM, that is arround half a Euro or Dollars.

On the return flight Air Asia was just 20 min late. A big difference from European airlines is that to be served on Air Asia you need to call a air tennant, normaly they planes i go in goes around with a van and visit all seats.

Google down !!!!

Friday, August 17th, 2007

I find this amazing if it is true. Google forgot to renew there .de domain name, and this was followed by several hours when google was down. The articel also say that another company registerd the name with google ad’s, however i find this hard to belive when the normaly is a month release time on the domain name.

Google is using the company MarkMonitor for managment of the domain name .com, not sure if this company is also used for .de
